In Week 7of Term 1

Emma earned the Mathlete of the week award.

We Are Learning To…

Fill in a Lotus sheet so that others can learn a little about ourselves.

We had to draw people so that they were not stick figures and our drawings had to be coloured carefully.

The special feature of our school is that it is 50 years old.

Student voice:

Last year when we visited our 2015 class, I drew a portrait of myself and wrote an acrostic poem about myself.

I think I followed the directions well to do the portrait.

WALt use the key competencies.

I use my thinking to be creative at discovery.

WALT speak Te Reo and use Maori phrases.

Student Voice " I like learning a Maori sentence at Assembly each week then practising it in our classroom".

WALT use our ball skills.

Student Voice " I can throw and catch this ball".

Student Voice - " I can throw and catch a ball well ".

WALT use our artistic skills to show people about us.

Student Voice " I am from NZ. I have made a poster about that and I have decorated it".
